Redesign partner Royal Auping wins Circular Business Award 2019

On 22 February, the Dutch State Secretary for Infrastructure and Water Management announced Royal Auping’s circular mattress to be the winner of the 2019 Circular Business Award.

Royal Auping’s circular mattress was developed in collaboration with Niaga®. It follows the 3 Niaga® product design principles: reduction of material complexity, use of recyclable ingredients only, and reversible connections only.

The jury applauded the collaboration between Royal Auping and Niaga®, allowing know-how of sleep, manufacturing, material science and circular product design to materialize in a mattress-to-mattress recyclable, super comfortable product.
